Paul Tong, CPA

Paul Tong is the president and founder of the firm. The firm specializes in auditing, taxation, accounting services, internal control evaluations and litigation support services, with a specialty in the construction industry. For over twenty years, Paul Tong, CPA P.C. has provided services to entities of all sizes in the Tri-State Area, advising them on taxes, tax planning, estate planning, business development and consulting.

Paul provides tax research, planning and compliance, audit and accounting services to high-income individuals and businesses. Paul’s extensive experience in the construction industry has given him a clear understanding of the problems and issues facing his clients. Sureties and banks also rely on him for information relating to bonding and lending credit. Paul’s industry specialization also includes real estate, non-profits, and small businesses.

Mae Clemente, CPA

Mae has over nineteen years of diversified experience in public accounting. She has been actively involved in providing individuals and businesses in the Tri-State area with a broad range of financial services including accounting, auditing, consulting, tax planning and compliance services.

Mae’s diverse client base includes companies operating in construction, non for profit organizations and real estate. She has worked extensively in these areas and is well versed in the financial and complex tax issues related to these industries. Her consulting work involves business plans and tax research which is integrated with the tax planning for the entity and business owners. Mae has extensive experience in the design, integration and training of accounting systems for small and medium size businesses

Along with the skills and leadership Mae brings to the firm, she is also in charge of the firm’s Continuing Professional Education (CPE) program, which helps provide quality continuing education to the firm’s professional members. Mae also assists the firm owner, Paul Tong, to ensure that all of the firm’s quality control and attest functions are performed in accordance with the highest professional standards.

Mae is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA).

Lee Rosen, CPA

Lee I. Rosen has over thirty years public accounting experience providing auditing, accounting, tax compliance and planning and consulting services. Lee has been providing these services to a broad range of clients in the Tri-State area.

Lee brings a host of skills and leadership to the firm, which are beneficial to our business clients and high net worth individuals. These include business planning, financial analysis, business valuation plans and general business consulting. He is also well versed in complex tax issues.

Lee’s prior experiences also has been in real estate, construction contractors, professional and entertainment services, manufacturing and non for profit organizations.

Jessica’s duties include bookkeeping, preparation of payroll tax returns, and payroll and accounting data entry. She assists in the preparation of workpapers for the financial statements including ratio analysis and other schedules used for analytical procedures. She also prepares schedules for utilization in various audits.

Christina’s strengths are in her practical techniques of managing a workforce. She works closely with the entire staff to help transition a more effective work environment. Christina’s duties include the firms accounting and making sure the firms procedures are executed correctly. Christina is also responsible for keeping the firm up to date with the latest hardware and software solutions.
